This 8 day tour covers most of the popular sites in Israel and is also the first part of two additional tours we offer: Highlights & Jordan and Highlights & Petra. This is the perfect way to experience Israel (and Jordan in one trip if you go for one of the add-on tours listed above).

Day 1 (Sunday arrival only)

- Transfer to Tel Aviv Hotel
Day 2 (Monday)
- Depart Tel Aviv towards Ashdod
- Short visit to Beersheba
- Masada (Cable Car to the top included)
- Visit Excavations / Herod’s Palace
- Dead Sea (For a swim / float)
- Pass by Ein Gedi
- Ascend into Jerusalem
Day 3 (Tuesday)

- Ein Karem (traditional birth-place of John the Baptist)

- Appropriate dress – Casual
Ladies should ensure knees & shoulders are covered (it may also be appropriate to take along a shawl for covering in certain sites)
Men should dress modestly with shorts (below knee length) and shoulders covered - Shoes – most people wear a comfortable pair of trainers
- Swimming costume & towel (required for optional Dead Sea tour)
Some people take water shoes to enter the Dead Sea as the salt / minerals can make the sea bed very rough to walk on - Sun Cream – temperatures can become very hot
- Passport – each passenger should bring along their passport in case of security checks
- The tour is on a guaranteed departure basis (subject to a minimum of 2 passengers)
- The sequence of the tour, hotels used, and sites visited may be changed at a moments notice circumstances dictate
- Bookings received less than 14 days prior to the tour departure date are taken a request only basis
- Sites within Palestinian areas are subject to situation
